My parents got us a video camera before LO was born. But I'm awful at taking video. I'm trying to make a point to do more because I love watching our old home movies.

I've taken about 700 videos since LO's birth--all on my phone!

@chopsuey119: I think that's my problem. It's so much work to get the video camera out. But it's such a nice camera I want to use it!

@artbee: You should definitely use it! I'd probably never use it on the daily since I have my phone. Maybe the next time you take a vacay you can take it along.

Yeah, after I got an iPhone I never use our video camera anymore. You always have your phone with you.

@chopsuey119: We take it to all holidays, but then we're so busy that we forget to get it out! We'll be using it this weekend for her naming.

Hubs is thinking about getting an actual video camera to take video of the baby... I like the idea because the quality will be so much better compared to our phones, but then again, all of our point-and-shoot cameras have decent video, too (we have like, 4 cameras total).
I don't want him to buy a dedicated video camera if we don't end up using it enough. Thinking about a Flip camera or something similar...

@HabesBabe: I don't regret getting our nice camera, I'm glad we have it. I just want to get into the habit of using it more, and I think that we will.

@artbee: I think we'll get one... seeing hubs and BIL's home videos (that their dad took on a 8mm camera! LOL) are so adorable.

I take some on my iphone, but need to upload them somewhere before I lose them.

I prefer taking video over photos actually. So we try to take as much video as possible.

Not at all and I need to switch it up! I wish I had so many of our memories on video! Tons of photos but no videos of our vacations, etc.
