Supposingly the sun's rays are at it's strongest between 10am and 4pm. Because of that I try to avoid taking M outside between those hours if I can.
ETA: I mean like for a long time, ir the park, beach etc

Yes, those are our peak times to go out and do stuff but we don't go out in the sun all that much.

Wouldn't even think not to. We're in Florida, so there's no way to avoid it anyways. I just try to shade him as best I can for now.

I guess I don't think about it. If we're going to be outside, I generally try to find shade anyways because he hates the sun in his eyes.

Yes unless there is a heatwave of some kind. Whenever the sun feels especially hot I use my umbrella

Yeah, I just try to keep her out of direct sunlight and make sure to use tons of sunscreen.

yep! We go to the beach, the pool, our beach house, long walks. etc. Usually she is in the shade but if she is going to be in direct sunlight I always have lots of sunscreen and a sun hat on her.

Yea, we just don't sit directly in the sun.

yes I do. I normally just shade her on the way to the car and if we are out in the sun anywhere.

We do, but always have a hat in the diaper bag as well as sunscreen, and we try to stay out of direct sun.

Yes. We have sun hats; mostly we just go to other places indoors.
Sometimes if it is hang out with a cranky baby or go for a walk in the sun.... I choose the sun exposure.

Yep. We spend a good part of the day outside, when the kids are home.
