No, but I would love to (and keep saying I will for the next one). In all fairness, once I get to know them I get them Christmas gifts (well, the ones that we like)

I like the idea but haven't ever done it. Hopefully we will be getting new neighbors soon (the current one are moving for work this week and trying to sell), I guess that would be a good time to start!

ETA: we live in a "community" cul-de-sac, and I bring a new neighbor a bottle of wine because we do more neighborly things here. When we just lived in-town, we didn't do anything.

We just moved and were SO grateful to those who took the time to bring over cookies and introduce themselves! It meant so much and made us feel so happy that we live in that kind of neighborhood

Definitely! Our immediate neighbors aren't that friendly so I would have loves it if someone brought over a gift!

No not usually. A house just sold in my cul de sac. I should bring over cookies the man actually moves in and maybe start a quid pro quo. I think I may be in for some yummy Middle Eastern or Indian food. Right now there's a ton of contractors at his house.
