I tend not to take many things personally. I let things roll off my back pretty easily.

I really try not to, and I think I've gotten a lot better at it over the years. I used to be way too sensitive!

I'm quite sensitive and a people-pleaser so I tend to take things personally. BUT! Over the last couple of years, I realized that sometimes the world is just mean and I need a thicker skin so I've actually gotten a lot better.

Sometimes I can be very critical of myself, but I know when something isn't my fault or is out of my control. Those things roll off my back.

Almost never. In general, I think most people are far too easy to offend and really shouldn't take life so seriously.

Not really... I think the only person I take stuff personally from is DH. Since I take his opinion in high regard. But, he doesn't usually offend me much LOL (i'd hope not)

8 out of 10 times I try not to. It's so relieving when you just give a "I don't give an F" about it and let things go. Saves energy and you're so much happier!

Yeah, I do. I'm a people pleaser like Rubies. I am also super critical of myself. I also care about what people think of me. Oh, I'm also sometimes very self conscious. I would say that I don't take things personally but my actions and thoughts shows otherwise.

I'm the same as Rubies & Bluestriped Bee...it stinks. I always assume the worst, and when that's combined with being insecure about a situation it just snowballs!

I think I don't take enough things personally. I almost always give people the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes I am totally wrong and they were, in fact, attacking something about me personally.

I'm usually pretty good at not taking things personally or getting offended when something is said by a stranger or acquaintance. But I do have a harder time when it is my family. Mostly because they all know that I am a pretty sensitive person.
