Yes! I love taking walks. Definitely don't do it enough, but I'm trying to more often now that I'm pregnant! My dog really appreciates it. lol

Our neighborhood is absolutely fabulous for walks and when the air quality is good, we're out there!

@Mrs. Jacks: Ah one of the best things about this house iss being above the inversions!
We take walks 4-6 times a week.

Yep! We love to take walks around the neighborhood. There are couple of parks walking distance that we like to walk to.

Yep, not nearly enough, though I'm hoping we can arrange a nice long walk tomorrow for Valentines day!

Sure do, I try to get out with my LO and my dog every day during the week and prior to going on maternity leave I used to get up at 6am every weekday morning to take the dog for his walk.
We meet all sorts of interesting people and see lots of interesting sights out walking, it's great!

Yes! It's exactly one mile around the "block," so I try to get out when it's nice out (which it hasn't been for the last...4 months...).

I use to all the time at the condo. Haven't yet in the new house, but I will, just been raining every night since we moved in.

Yep! We have greenbelt trails very close to our house. It's a nice walk.

Yes, the time of day just varies depending on time of year. We just got back a few minutes ago from one. we goo a few times a week, for about 30 minutes. During the heat of summer, we usually walk around 9pm. Not sure how we will manage bedtime this summer

Not really but we live in the country so it's hard without sidewalks and with our hilly road.
pomelo / 5321 posts
I've only gone once. All of the sidewalks are slanted off to the side and it kills my ankles. I need to get into the habit of going though. The fresh air would be so good for DS and the exercise would be great for me!

Not anymore. My neighbors noticed and started striking up conversation and it made me self-concious.

@ms.janedoe: this. Since it snowed here DS and I haven't been out.
We used to go on a walk at least once a day, but since it snowed in December we haven't been out.
It was REALLY nice out today and I would have gone out but the stroller tire is flat.

@Mrs. Pen: I feel your pain. It's been snowing since October! The nice thing is that it's really sunny where we live, so the walks are bearable. I usually wear her in the Ergo for walks because i'm afraid that it'll be too cold in the stroller.
Lately i've been running around the neighbourhood, and love it!

Yup, most days. We have a couple playgrounds within walking distance and LO and the dogs go stir crazy inside so we're out a lot.

In my current neighborhood, it's not safe to. Not just because of my neighbors but because we're off of a five lane highway. In our (hopefully) new neighborhood, we'll be able to walk up and down our street and there's a park a quick jaunt down the road in the car -plus- a really cool factory that's being converted into an eclectic mall right across the street. Retail therapy and exercise
Gotta love it.
