If you have groceries delivered (Peapod, Fresh Direct, etc), do you tip on top of the delivery charge? Delivery fees can be $7-8... do you tip the driver in addition to the fee? How much?

I usually tip $5. Standard for New York.

Typically 4-5 bucks. Unless I have a big order with a lot of beverages or heavy stuff. We used to live in a 4th floor walkup; I was chatty with our delivery guy. He said a LOT people don't tip, even 5th floor walkups where they get 500 lbs of stuff delivered (which I don't agree with). Now we are 1 flight up across the hudson; I tip a tiny bit less since we have less stairs now. We do the delivery pass so pay a set amount for unlimited deliveries.

I haven't done groceries delivery but I would tip $5 like I do for Prime Now restaurant delivery.
