I love buying purses, but recently realized that I'm usually using the same purse throughout the entire year (maybe do 1 or 2 switches during season changes)... and can't justify adding to my closet collection.
I'd like one classic piece like a Chanel or really nice LV to use year round...
Do you switch up your purses?

Since having a baby, there is no purse in my lifestyle - just diaper bag.
But, when I turn 40, I'm treating myself to a Chanel bag.

I used to have a lot before I got married. Sold them all!
I have... a casual chloe shoulder bag and a small formal chloe bag. That's it! I haven't used either in over a year.
I carry my diaper bag around wherever I go. When I go out without my LO, I just take a clutch.

Nope. I carry one purse year round until it gets permanently dirty or damaged.

I used to change seasonally, mostly leather in autumn and winter, canvas in spring and summer.
Since my son was born, I've used diaper bags when we're out together, but if I go out alone, I carry a small microfiber shoulder bag. I can't deal with a heavy purse anymore.

I have a bunch, but only switch every 6 months or so or use a smaller bag or clutch for special occasions

I have a couple that I switch between (usually seasonal or based upon size needs). I have more that I don't use and keep meaning to donate the ones I haven't used in more than a year but then don't.

I like to buy a nice classic bag every few years..but alas, since the baby, i use a diaper bag and a crossbody (handsfree) Marc Jacobs bag. It's all banged up and faded from use now, so I'm glad I used that instead of a "nicer bag". When baby is older, I'll switch over to a nicer handbag.

i used to switch purses depending on my outfit but after baby, that all changed! since i'm a WOHM i still have to carry a purse but i just recently bought a crossbody instead and i use that daily

I own a ton. Generally I'll switch it up every month or so, but lately I've been stuck between just a few vintage ones I've fallen in love with.

I used to change them out with my outfits before I had my LO. Now, I have one everyday bag (LV) for work/going out and carry my diaper bag during the weekends. Too lazy to switch out purses!

When I'm just out & about I prefer just my wallet.

I used to own a ton but I consigned most of them. Now I just use my Longchamp tote every day. Excited to break out my diaper bag collection again

I usually buy one "nice" Coach purse a year and just use it all year long, unless I need a clutch for evening or something. Sometimes I go longer as I have a black, a gray, and a gold (that has brown on it) so I can always switch for an outfit if I need it.

I have a Tignanello that I've been using for 3 years now. I am so not a purse person at all. As long as it holds my wallet, keys, lip gloss, and cell phone, I couldn't care less what it looks like. The only reason I have a Tignanello is because it was a Christmas gift. Otherwise, I'd be using a Target purse.

One purse - I only replace them when straps break. I'm a little glad my last one broke - as much as I like it, rainbow plaid does not go with anything that isn't 100% casual. I'm not sure my black-and-white tropical flowers are much better, though.

I hardly ever change my purse. Right now I'm using a purse from Target.
