I just use the diaper bag and throw in my wallet and a pouch that holds my small essentials. I'm actually going diaper bag shopping today because the ones I have don't work well for organizing and for cloth. I gave up on the diaper bags I have now and have been using this bag (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/longchamp-le-pliage-large-tote/3241956?origin=category&fashionColor=New+Navy&resultback=273). The pouch I use is Longchamp as well.

I have a small purse that I carry separately or throw inside the diaper bag. I just worry that dh will grab the diaper bag and forget to take my stuff out of it, so I want to have it all in one place.

I have lots of meds and medical supplies that I cant be separated from.

yup just use a diaper bag here too, mine came with a bunch of little bags to put stuff in, so i just use one of them to carry my wallet, keys, phone, etc.

I keep extra chapstick and purse essentials in the diaper bag and just throw my phone, wallet and keys in. I have a huge bag (Coach diaper bag) but find I don't need something that large and that it's too big and heavy along with carrying baby, so most days I use a smaller diaper bag by JJ Cole.

I bought a cute diaper bag first,
But I also went out and treated myself to a lovely leather Jessica Simpson clutch. That way, if I leave baby at grandma's..I can leave the bag and grab my clutch out of it. And I won't have to dig through to find my wallet when I'm out trying to pay for something with baby.
It makes me feel like: Yes, I have a diaper bag...but I haven't lost myself...i'm still hot;)

I got a cute diaper bag since I knew there was no way I would carry two bags....I put everything I need in the diaper bag. Keeping track of baby and one bag is hard enough!

I don't carry my stuff in the diaper bag, I sometimes leave the diaper bag unattended and don't want to be fiddling around to get my stuff out, so it's always in a separate small cross body bag that I can have on me at all times. It's a lifesaver.

@turtledoves: Who is that bag by? That would definitely be a contender.

I don't like carrying a lot of bags so I just use the diaper bag as my purse.

@lydg: I have that same bag in pewter! One of the straps broke though so I have to get it fixed.

I use a small clutch as my wallet now and stick a pen, my phone, my keys, and a chapstick in there.

My diaper bag with twins is massive. So I recently decided that it will just live in the car...or can go into family members homes. And then I have a few essentials in my purse...2 diapers, wipes, a bottle, a binky, and a washcloth. The purse is way easier to throw in the stroller or wear with the ergo, etc when I'm running errands....and ill always have the big guns in the car if I need them

of the outer straps broke but I think it's cuz I was carrying my dslr camera in it! oops!

I have a vera bradley diaper bag and will just throw my wristlet in her bag.

I bought a Kate Spade stevie diaper bag and plan to use that as my bag... need to find a good wallet
