I use a Clinique anti-aging moisturizer. I'm 31 and have been using it for 2 years - never too early!

Nope, just regular moisturizer. I don't buy into the anti aging stuff, if they really worked, we'd know about it!

I was just thinking about this! I'm 32 and need a better skin care regiman ( I use aveeno face wash with kiehl's moisterizer)..my easthatician was noticing my sun spots and rec a product with retinol in it at night.

@looch: it's not really more expensive so why not was my thought!?

Yup, whatever I can get my hands on. facewash, toner, eye gel, serum and moisturizer! lol (I'll be 33 in July...oy!)

Nope. I'm only 25 and I still have pretty nice skin. All I do is cleanse and then moisturize with tea tree oil lotion. So far, so good. Plus, my parents look a decade younger than they are, so I have good skin genes!

I always did but I haven't since I was pregnant and now breastfeeding. Side question: Does anyone know if you can use retinols/salicylic acid while breastfeeding? I definitely feel like since I've stopped, my skin tone isn't as even as it was when I was using the good stuff!

Nope! I'm more worried about preventing pimples than wrinkles. My mom doesn't have any wrinkles yet so I'm not worried.
ETA: I don't know if you guys have heard the phrase "black don't crack," haha, but I totally believe in that.

I recently started using some anti-aging face wash (St. Ives brand) and moisturizer (Aveeno naturals brand) and I swear my skin looks terrible after adding it to my routine. I'm breaking out like crazy; I haven't had acne this bad since I was a teenager! I think maybe my skin is just too oily for anything but light, oil-free moisturizers. Not sure about the face wash.
I'm trying to reset my skin now but I might try other anti-aging products in the future. Mostly I just use a daily moisturizer with SPF.
Oh, and I'm 28.

@IRunForFun: that sucks the Clinique one I use is really light!

@mrsjazz: HAHAHA! My aunts say that all the time. It looks to be true from the skin they all have.

@TheReelDeal: I look at my grandmother, grandfather, aunts and uncles and I don't worry. There's definitely some truth to that statement!

@regberadaisy: Hmmm maybe I should look into something like that. I'm really frugal though (well, I'm just cheap, actually.)

@IRunForFun: haha I am too! But for some reason I'm OK spending money on moisturizer. I wait till dept stores do their free gift promotions. I also like Murad which is doing a friends & Family for 20% via SAVE20 then 14% back via Ebates!

I just am careful in the sun. I wear Oil of Olay fasce moisturizer with SPF on my face year round. I think that's the very best way to ensure younger looking skin!

I do. I've been using them since I was about 23. I didn't need them at that age but I thought it would be a good preventative move. I'll be 30 in less than 6 months (eek!) and I don't have any wrinkles or fine lines. I'm also religious about sunscreen application year round and I think that's helped even more than my various anti-aging products.

I think how you will age is a combination of genetics and external factors, like sun exposure and smoking.
My mom has fabulous skin at 61, she hardly ever put moisturizer on, but the lesson from her is stay out of the sun and don't smoke.

yes--since my late 20's, i think. my mom is a big skincare junkie so i guess some of it eventually rubbed off on me. right now i use a kiehl's facial serum, but i'm always trying different ones.

I have a retin-a prescription for acne / red marks, which helps with aging signs too.

@mrsjazz: Arab don't either. For real...50 year old Arabs looks 30. (the women anyways...)
However, I KNOW if anyone will age, it is me. I am just super lucky that way.
I turn 25 next year and I'll start buying anti-aging products then. Can't hurt right? I already spend an arm and a leg on products anyways. Might as well...

@TurtleDoves: It's the melanin! Just wear sunscreen, I'm sure you'll stay wrinkle free for a very long time.

YES is the short answer. Except I'm not really using anything right now, since I'm pregnant. But I will be getting out the big guns once this baby is out and I'm done breastfeeding.
My family has super thin, white, wrinkle-prone skin and I'm losing skin tone fast (I'm 33 in a week!). I'm planning on a Retin-A scrip and maybe some botox as soon as I can afford it after breastfeeding. Not scary botox...I have some friends that have had just a little in the right places and you can't even tell unless you know what to look for.
