Nope. Never. I don't tweet and thought it was really strange when people put them on Facebook where they don't even serve a function.

Only a few times when I was trying to categorize pics on IG, like for our april mommies group, and when I used to do a daily scripture explanation... It helped be able to find pics when I had too many to scroll through looking for a certain one.

NO!!! I think I used a hashtag exactly once when I wanted to categorize a picture on Instagram. Other than that, absolutely not, especially not on Facebook. It drives me crazy when people put 5+ hashtags after a status on Facebook.

Not really. I use them on IG a little bit but without function since I'm private anyway. Never on facebook - can't stand it!
But my friend is OBSESSED with them and always hashtags in our texts! I finally just let it go.

I do occasionally on IG. I try to embrace new 'technology' because I don't want to be like my Grandma who refuses to learn anything new. It's hard to keep up!

I can't remember ever using one. DH was just asking me the other day what they are, but he doesn't use social media at all so it's not surprising he didn't know.

I do use it on twitter because it makes it easy to support a cause by using that hashtag. For instance the #secondhandsmoke tag.

Only for business purposes. I # my company, relevant keywords on twitter and I used to on Pinterest.

@Mrs. Jacks: lol! The best thing is I have people on facebook that still dont understand how to use it and they put a hashtag before and after the word but then they leave gaps between the word and the hashtag so it doesnt link to anything like this

No, and it drives me nuts when people use them out of context. There's this girl I'm friends with and she puts like 10 different tags in one fb status. Drives.me.crazy.

#yup. i think jt/jimmy fallon's skit was too show the extreme (which i have seen on ig!) i don't think everyone has to completely stop using them, as long as you aren't going overboard. #theycanbeuseful

i watched that skit last night and just about died laughing. i have some facebook friends who hashtag that badly. I use them sometimes on IG, but I'm not sure why, since I think my page is private anyway

That skit was awesome. I use them occasionally but only sparingly and only ironically. For example, the last time I used one was on facebook and said this:
Had a meeting with a bride at a coffee house this afternoon. Promptly spilled my (mercifully cold) coffee all over my lap upon sitting at the table. #WinningAtBusiness
