i love using the self-checkout...except when people use them to ring out an entire weeks worth of groceries!!!!!!!! there should be a # of items or less on them!

I love self-checkout. Now that DD is big enough, she always helps me scan the items and we practice her letters by looking up all the produce. It takes a little longer, but it's a lot of fun!

I love the self checkouts at BJ's but my coupons never scan correctly at the self checkouts at Stop & Shop.

As long as I have only a few items and not too much produce I always use self-checkout. If I have a cart full, I go to the cashier.

I think it's fine at the drugstore as they have a good system there. And I only buy a few items at a time. It absolutely stinks at the grocery store so I have no idea why people use it because you usually buy a lot of stuff there!

I use them, but we don't have any where we live, only in the city.

When I was in school I worked part time at Home Depot and would sometimes "man the self check out" so I got pretty skilled at using them. lol

I hate when grocery stores have no open registers and requires you to use their self checkout. Most of the time they only have one or two open registers and assumes everyone will use the self checkout. This causes long lines at the registers, and I end up at self checkout.

I like them. It seems faster. If I have a lot though I go through a regular line.

Ugh!! They suck! Or, maybe I'm the one that sucks. Whenever I use them I have trouble and have to have help which takes forever & defeats the whole self-checkout part.
