I am majored in economics mostly, and I can't say that I really use it professionally. I do use some of the concepts when I read the paper though, and I'm amazed at how many people think that the economy is really simple and that they could do a better job running it than whomever is in power.

In any case, I think that most economics courses are pretty useless. In retrospect, I probably would have benefited more from a major that I could use in my career or daily life. Probably should have majored in computer science!

Do you use your college major in your career or daily life?
