If so, what do you do?
Recently, I've volunteered to help out at a charity race. Haha, I'm not that active so volunteering is something I could do.

I love to volunteer. I've done a ton of different things: food bank, animal shelter, helping the elderly, adopt-a-block clean up, etc.

I've been a mentor to a high-school girl for the past 2 years, we are starting our third and final year together in the fall. We're part of an organization that pairs professional women writers with teen girls who want to pursue a career in writing. During the school year we get together every week or every other week to work on writing together and participate in monthly workshops on writing that cover poetry, journalism, screenwriting, fiction, and non-fiction/memoir. At the end of the year the girls put on a public reading of their work and get published in an anthology.
Prior to that I mentored a teen-mom for a year.
I think mentoring is awesome!

I did all through HS, College, and at my first job and really enjoyed it. Junior Achievement and Habitat-for-Humanity were my two faves since starting my career. At my current job, I haven't.

I used to.. will volunteer again once my kids are in school

I joined the Junior League last year to meet women in my area and volunteer. This year I am part of a program to teach healthy eating habits to children. Should be fun!
