DS has been asleep since about 2:20 - almost 2.5 hours. He only had one other nap today though. Should I wake him up??? He last fed at 1 pm. He's almost 6 weeks.

I never wake my kids. In general, DS gets about 5 hours of sleep in naps a day; as long as he gets his normal amounts, I figure he'll sleep just fine at night (and he mostly does).

I wake Sawyer to make sure he eats every 3 hours during the day, or else we are up a ton at night.

I do, but only if she's going over 4 hours... this rarely happens with my little cat napper though. Boo.

No. I have the urge to, but I don't. It has made me nervous several times because I get worried that it will mess up the night-time sleep, but it hasn't happened yet.
Even right now, putting Nico down for a nap (or maybe for the night?) at 6:30pm feels so wrong, but he's 10 weeks old and knows more about what sleep he needs than me.

Interesting! LO ended up sleeping 3.5 hours. I was more concerned that he hadn't eaten for 5 hours than the sleep thing!

Nope...even if I worry he'll be awful at night I let him sleep. I figure it might make up for the days he barely naps

I used to because I was very concerned with getting her on a schedule (eating every three hours). Then I stopped because I figured if she was hungry, she would wake up. But now, she doesn't sleep, day or night. Ugh.
