I always hear moms say that their babies are growing up too fast and they want their babies to stay babies forever... or at least a little while longer.

I was never a big baby person, and I couldn't wait for Charlie to get older and walk and talk. This age that he's at now (23 months) is super fun and talking is definitely the most fun milestone to date. But yesterday I was watching old videos of him, and I was reminded of how much easier it was to take care of him when he just became a toddler and didn't throw tantrums, and I started missing that stage.

Now that we have Olive, I feel like she's growing so fast! On the one hand I want her to stay a baby since this is our last child and I really want to enjoy this stage. But on the other I want her to hurry up and grow up so she can play with Charlie. I'm definitely enjoying the baby stage a lot more this time around, and I bet that I'll really miss it when it's gone.

Do you want your baby to stay a baby forever, or can you not wait for them to start walking/talking/etc?
