I've never washed the new stuffed animals. But yesterday K started gnawing on some and lately everything goes in her mouth. Do you wash all the new stuffed animals? (and if you've seen our IG, we have the furry neon Disney animals - I wonder if those get all matted or whatnot if washed?)

@shopaholic: I just throw them in the wash and tumble dry low.
The only problem is that washing can change how stuffed animals feel. I've thrown Patrick the Pup in the wash tons of times. He's no longer super soft. -
I dry them for a few minutes...I hope that does something! Lol

I was washing everything when my LO was tiny tiny but not anymore. I throw the toy in a bag and then air dry on a rack. Everything has come out great so far! Sometimes the fur needs to be fluffed up a little once it is dry.

Hmmm... ok. So far she hadn't really played with any of them yet. I'm going to wash them tomorrow!

@shopaholic: I don't. I had a panda when I was little (3) that went into the wash and never came out the same. It traumatized me. LoL. I saw a wash bag for stuffed animals on shark tank, so maybe I'll look into that.
If I were you, I would try one first. If it doesn't come out well than you can reevaluate..

I washed, in a pillow case or a big lingere bag. I would air dry and fluff them in the dryer on the no heat setting.

I wash them all and throw them into the dryer. There were a few that ended up with loose stitches that she never got to play with. I know it's easy to stitch them back up, but I've been procrastinating.

Oh I was just thinking. The reason why I air dry is because you don't know what the animal is stuffed with. If its plastic pellets or something they will melt! So I tend to wash on warm for that reason as well.
