I just started watching this show and I am totally hooked! I kept hearing about it but my friend told me I had to watch it. I'm only on the 3rd episode and it's amazing.
DH was making fun of me last night because it's totally a young, modern hipster version of Sex and the City, but I can actually relate to it (even though I'm 10 years older than the characters).
Any other "Girls" fans?

I love it. DH actually really likes it too. I can relate to it too-- though not now, in a "yeah, I remember when things like that were SUCH a big deal" kind of way. And the living in NYC and having no money thing. DH hates most of the characters but likes the show.

DH and I love the show! Although, he constantly complains that Hannah gets naked EVERY episode but he never gets a glimpse of Marney. Lol.

@mrbee: @rahlyrah: I assumed it had something to do with their personalities. Marnie is more the type of girl who would have sex at least partially covered up. Hannah is the type of girl who would get naked all the time ... well, to prove a point. Remember the pilot, when they're taking a bath and Hannah points out that she never gets to see Marnie naked?

Yes, love it. Although some of it is so awkward it's hard to watch! Makes me glad I'm not a single twenty-something anymore

Yes I really like it. The crack party episode is hilarious (toward the end of season 1). I love shoshanna--totally relate to her and marnie. Dh watches it but also hates all the Hannah nudity.

@highwire: Haha I don't think it is. When I was telling him about it, he's like, "Oh, it's about four white girls who are friends in New York? And their relationships? That sounds familiar." But it's much better than Sex in the City, which I really am not a fan of at all.

DH and I love it! It's hilarious, though like others have mentioned, DH hates seeing Hannah naked all the time too. Lol. I also agree with @hilsy85, the crack episode is amazing, haha.

I'm conflicted! I've watched every episode and definitely have laughed out loud but it makes me cringe SO HARD. The episode where Hannah has the job interview comes to mind. I pretty much hate all the characters (except maybe Shoshanna) but I think you're sort of supposed to hate them? The crack episode is genuinely hilarious.

Love the show. Shosh and Adam have the best lines. Love that we are seeing more of Elijah this season too.
