At age 14 I got contacts (never had glasses previously),and now I wear glasses because I have chronic dry eye...I would LOVE laser surgery though!

I wear glasses. My eyes are really dry so I don't like wearing contacts. Also, I'm lazy.

I had perfect vision until I was 19 and started a job that involved staring at a computer all day my eyesight got really bad and I ended up wearing glasses. I got LASIK August of 2010, best thing ever!

I had PRK done in may of 2008. Best thing ever!!!! If I could have done LASIK I would have done that over PRK because you heal faster and apparently its less painful. It just wasnt an option for me.

I got glasses when I was 11, and I got contacts at 13. I usually wear contacts instead of my glasses.

started wearing glasses in middle school, i think. switched to contacts in junior high. got lasik a few years ago and LOVE it. i had really bad dry eyes for a whole year following the surgery, even with a mix of drops and gels. i eventually got punctal plugs put in and all is perfect.
oh, the only thing that sucks is that i thought the whole "crying when cutting onions" was a myth. turns out, it was just because i always had contacts to protect my eyes. i was so surprised and confused the first time i cut an onion post-surgery.
