My co-worker just went to grab lunch. I gave her my debit card, but when she came back she told me that she just decided to pay for it!
I would say this happens at least once a week. Co-workers say they're going to get lunch, ask if anyone else wants anything, and then say "I'm buying."
It's so nice! They buy coffee at least once a week for me, too.
Needless to say, I try my best to return the favor whenever I step out for lunch or a coffee!

I try to buy coffee & donuts and lunch for my department every now and then.
I plan on buying lunch for my team this Friday.

I work in a large building so you couldn't really open up the offer to any coworkers, but I have a similar relationship with a couple of close friends who work on my hall- if I'm going out I ask if they want anything, and vice versa. It's lovely

This happens at my office sometimes. My boss is really nice about it and will buy lunch for the whole staff sometimes

My deskmate and I will surrpise each other with a hot drink in the morning every once in awhile, adn we bring in treats but very rarely buy lunch unless it's a birthday! Or we will very rarely bribe each other with by saying "my treat if you go get Thai with me!"

I've bought my coworkers coffee a couple of times when we go and do field work and we stop at a convenient store. One coworker and I used to take turns buying each other lunch for awhile.

Usually once a week or every-other week, but that's because I'm the associate and there are 3 partners. So any time they invite me for lunch, they pick it up, or if it's all 4 of us, the firm pays. I feel tish guilty, but I know that once I'm a partner, we'll be taking turns, so I just enjoy it for now

A few times coffee, but I'm on in the office on Friday. We all go out for lunch every Friday, but everyone pays for their own. Sometimes we have meetings where the company pays for a meal, but that's it!
