There is some serious dog and baby love going on in our house. My LO literally shrieks and laughs every single time the dog comes around her. She loves him (and I think he loves her too)!

Aw how sweet! Two of my three dogs love L. The oldest one isn't much of a fan.

that is super sweet.
My dog definitely doesn't care about baby yet. She cares when baby is getting put into a jacket/ergo because that means it might be a walk time for her. She cares when I give baby finger foods, which end up on the floor. Other than that she doesn't care.
Just a year and a half ago my dog had puppies (long story) so I feel like when she sees the baby she's like "been there, done that, over it!"

aww! M definitely LOVES our pup! She does the same thing yours does. She shrieks and laughs when she sees the pup and when the pup licks her hand she laughs uncontrollably.
I think our pup at this point tolerates her! haha

The dogs are great with the baby, our female follows me into the nursery whenever I put her down/nurse her and lays by my side.
I don't let them hang out on the floor with her though, usually I have a baby gate seperating them from her if she isn't in her exersaucer, high chair or in my arms. Even though they are awesome, they are still animals, and if someone comes to the door for instance, I have two 70lb torpedos launching themselves across the house to get to the door. I doubt they would ever intentionally hurt her, but they are clumsy oafs and I just wont risk it.

I love all these pictures! So cute!
I joke that our dogs are better brothers to DD than DS is right now. In fact, this morning they were playing Ring Around the Rosie together. They're best friends!

@sorrycharlie: Our dog was like that too. It wasn't until LO was four months old that he started paying attention to her, or would even go close to her. Now, at five months, he purposely goes up and sits by her or lays by her. He definitely had an adjustment period.
We are still working on his unnecessary barking. He has picked this up since LO came home (He gets a bit less attention and I think he barks because he is bored).
