Several can't believe we put our almost 16 month old to sleep when she's awake and not rock her to sleep. (been doing this for 10 months.)

cloth diapers, extended rear facing, minimal processed foods. The horror, I tell you. The horror.

I'm sure people thought I was super weird (or probably just anal) for being so strict about LO's sleep for the first year. I've become more lax now but we still prefer to stick as close to our schedule as possible.

Nobody thinks it's weird that he is such an independent sleeper ...they think it's awesome!

Rear-facing as long as possible, not wearing a big coat in the car seat. Pretty much anything car seat safety-related.

I feel like people give us the side-eye for co-sleeping & how often F wakes up in a night. I haven't been boasting about how we've ditched his crib this month & gave him a floor bed at 16 months, but I bet I'd get some "Oh. Interesting." faces

No TV/iPad for my 3 year old. Making baby food. Other homemade stuff. Med free birth.

Oh practically everything. Cloth diapering, extended breadtfeeding, blw, no screen time, no junk food, no ear piercing, cosleeping, no strict schedule, babywearing, etc.

@JennyD: my LO hoisted her leg atop the crib once. She was so shocked when I caught her in the act that she never tried again. We moved her to a toddler bed at 28 months mostly because I was tired of lifting her in and out. Nearly one month later and she doesn't wander from her bed without permission.

We get the most surprise about not offering juice as a drink option.

I'm just strange. It's no big secret.

Co-sleeping, cloth diapering, unmedicated birth, baby led weaning, Montessori style nursery... Yep. People think we're weird.

I just own it. I know we're weird.

Olive is still in the crib too... at 27 months!
