We used to go on walks alll the time as a family in Brooklyn, since it's so easy to just walk around the block in the evening! The kids absolutely loved them, even though we usually didn't go anywhere. It was just fun to spend time together as a family, out of the house.

Last year we moved to a place with mosquitoes, and now I never want to leave the house in the evenings. Afternoons are out too, because it's pretty hot here. We'll have to figure out a new time of day to go on walks together... or maybe all get long pants and shirts to protect us from bites.
