I wouldn't say they *want* to but they do. The younger one will let me get in a few quick brushes.

They're still young (almost 2!), but brushing their teeth is their favorite thing ever! Any time we are upstairs they try to escape to the bathroom to brush teeth. When they go into the bathroom for bathtime they usually try to get up on the stool to brush right then (we make them wait till after bath): for their upcoming birthday I bought a whole variety of fun character toothbrushes and I guarantee that will be their fave present! I hope it always stay this way, but I doubt it!

They loooove doing mouth wash and floss but don't care so much for the actual brushing.

My daughter does. Only because I found this weird story on my phone called Sam and the sugar bug and she's afraid a sugar bug will come if she doesn't. If we forget she will yell out from her bed to remind me.
My son HATES brushing. We have to hold him down and he screams like we are killing him.

I don't know about want, but they're willing and don't fight it. They do the whole shebang - brush, floss, mouthwash.

Yes, but he also knows if he doesn't brush his teeth it will turn yellow and have cavities. This I have to thank our school as they have tooth fairy visits and they really talked about the importance of dental hygiene.

Well, I don't know if he really wants to, but he does it without protesting.

My daughter is the opposite, we have to practically pry the toothbrush out of her hands every single time. My son is much more docile about it and never puts up a fight either way.

No, it's a struggle. I have to make it a game or competition. And I usually have to brush his teeth for him since he thinks biting the brush is brushing!
