No. Neither of my parents went to college. I have a BA. My mil has a masters so she has more education than me or my husband.

My parents never went to college. I was the first person in my family to go to college or get post-graduate degrees.
Since I did so, my mom has completed a degree and so has one of my sisters. I'm very proud of them.

I have my BA. My mom has an Associates degree and my dad's is a degree from a technical college (although now you generally need a Bachelor's for his field).

my dad has a PhD and my mom has a master's. both my brothers have master's too. i am the only one who has a bachelor's. i'm the underachiever!

Wow. My dad dropped out of HS in grade 9 and my mom graduated HS. I have a bachelors degree. In fact im the first in all my extended family to finish university.
