My MIL swears her kids never threw a tantrum so she thinks LO 2 (who can be an emotional 2.5 year old) must have inherited the unsavory behavior from my side.
My parents make comments like this toooo...ahh!

Um what? That's so weird. My mom is the total opposite. When my three year old pulls her sass my mom is all "welcome to my world, you were JUST like that"

I have heard FIL make comments like that about SILs kids saying things came from their dad's side. Sometimes it seems like he might be joking, but other times I know he's not!

We only get comments from both sides saying that LO is just like that set of grandparents' child. So MIL/FIL say LO is just like DH as a kid and my parents say the same.
That would kind of hurt my feelings!

More often than not my mom says I was just like that, but there are a few underlying behaviors she will note that its just like DH or the IL side.
