Oh my God. That is horrifying!!! I'm so glad that my son's was performed in our pediatrician office and I was there the entire time. I can't believe that no one mentioned anything to her before she took her son home!!

Oh my gosh. That's horrific. I can believe that it happened I guess- since medical mistakes happen- but NOT TELLING THEM? What did the doctor think, they wouldn't notice? That's horrible. Just so disgusting. I just can't imagine what the doctor was thinking.

I didn't read the article because I am too traumatized by my own sons circumcision (which was not botched but wa one of the most traumatic things of my entire life). I think it's a hard choice to make but I really regret it and sometimes I hope we don't have another boy because I really don't want to deal with the big fight I'm gonna have with my husband over it! I will never do that again! Ever! I was in the room the whole time but still! Awful. That poor little baby.

That is horrific! And just one more reason to add to my list of why we will never circumcise any baby of ours!
ETA: I was firmly against circumcision before reading this article, and I know mistakes can happen to anyone, but for an unnecessary surgery, it just further cements my belief that it is not something we will ever do.

I can't with this story! Poor poor baby! I hope she wins a major ass medical malpractice suit! Accidents and mistakes or even uncontrollables happen in the OR but to just omit it from the discharge to the mother is just CRAZY unprofessional and speaks volumes to the type of physician this person must be!

Horrific. I am rather familiar with the medical group mentioned in the article, and I wish they would get shut down. Negligent, poorly run facility! Poor mama and baby

I am beyond horrified. I can't even imagine. As someone who was on the receiving end of comments such as "disgusting" and "idiotic" and "dangerous" for not getting her son circumcised, I don't think I've ever been more thankful for making that decision the way that I did.

Wow, I have to give that mom a hand because I'm very calm, but if that happened to my child? Oh, I would have been up in that hospital beating someone's butt. The audacity to bring that child back to his mama like nothing happened!
