M is 12 weeks old and every time the TV is on, she tries so hard to see it. If she's fussy and we're walking her around the house, sometimes we'll notice she stopped being fussy because she's facing the TV!! AH! I think it's time to turn it off. 
Anyone else have a TV addict since birth?

HAha so cute. We're not big tv watchers, so LO never really had a chance to crane her neck!

Yeah, our 11 week old tries the same thing! i"m keeping the tv off more often now and we always make a concerted effort to have her facing away from the tv but she still tries to see it! On her play mat, she's now figured out how to scoot herself around to see the tv so we prop a pillow up against the side so she can't see around it. We mostly watch the news or documentaries so I'm not too worried about that but it's the adverts that bug me! I think we might have to start eliminating tv altogether before long.

YES! I turn her rocker around so it's not facing the TV and she will contort her head to watch TV! Sigh.

Yup!!! I'll notice she'll get real quiet....look over and 9/10 it's because she is watching the tv!

Yes! Ive tried turning her chair and moving her blanket and she somehow still manages to watch it. She's a big fan of honey booboo.

My lo is the opposite. She'll crawl out of the room if we turn the tv on. She has no interest in it. Its very weird! Good.... but weird.

Oh yes, Evelyn LOVES watching TV. She will scoot herself around to see it so I usually try to turn it off if I'm playing with her. But I have been known to let her watch if nothing else soothes her or if I'm in a pinch to get something done/shower.

Yes!! DS loves watching tv! His fave is happy feet 2 lol he's 4 months. DH hates that he pays attention to the tv, I almost think its because it's bright and noisy

we've stopped watching almost entirely for the same reason.... although now, I've started to DVR Sesame Street because it's the most tolerable kid-friendly TV I can think of, and just like you @mediagirl, it seems to calm him sometimes when he's fussy.

haha yess!! he was loving the olympics because it was the only time we had the TV on all the time. We mostly just watch TV now when he's sleeping.
Sometimes I let him watch Baby Signing Time and he loves it.

Yep! He started becoming glued around 12w which is when I stopped watching it during the day!

Yup! I noticed it when she was about 6 weeks old. We have a 'No TV until she's in bed' rule now.

SShe is literally obsessed with TV. Especially football. She will do whatever she can to watch it.

Yep. Baby X likes the TV too. We just keep it off or keep him out of the room when it's on at the grandparents' houses. But Baby X loves all screens-- it's crazy how he'll even stare at microwave clocks, the pin pad screen at the grocery store. Homeboy likes his screens, so we (I) make extra efforts to limit his exposure at home since they seem to be ev.er.y.where when we're out.
