Thinking about getting one for Olive because her Aden and Anais swaddle blanket is her lovey. I've heard good things about it but there are also some bad reviews on Amazon about it pilling. Do you have one and recommend it?

We have one and had no issues with piling. Lo won't use it since he's use to his Little Giraffe blankets. They are his lovey.

I've had this one for almost 4 years. Little bit of pilling, if you would call it that. It definitely has a different texture than the standard a+a blanket, assuming they are being made the same now.

We have one and love it. We didn't experience pilling. We had ours for a year and when we wash we don't dry it

We have 2 but don't use it much yet. One is like an extra pillow top layer on the PnP, where she sleeps and plays sometimes. No pilling. But don't use the agitate cycle on the wash.

Each of my kids has one, but the baby obviously doesn't really use hers yet. My son's is 2+ years old and isn't pilling at all. However, there is a huge difference in quality/softness between the two, DS has the blue dot print and it is ok soft. DD has the grey star print and it is amazingly soft. Hers is also about 4" bigger than his, but they are both supposedly 47 inches. In any case, I would definitely recommend them.

@lamariniere: are they the organic, bamboo or classic dream blankets? You've convinced me to get one.
@Mrs. Bee: I've been thinking about getting one since before DD was even born and now so happy to see they have more print options!

@SugarplumsMom: they are both classic. I bet the bamboo one would be amazingly soft though!

R has one. I used it in my car over the winter to keep her nice and toasty warm. Love it!

@Mrs. Bee: which one did you end up getting? After reading all the good reviews here I'm thinking of ordering one too!

@dolphin: i got the regular one. olive loves it! it's perfect for her. a nice thickness but not too warm so she'll be able to use it all summer.
