my husband and I just started watching on netflix (his awesome friend gave us his log in!). we wanted to find some new shows to get into for the fall, we're about 7 episodes in on season one.
at first I totally thought it was cheesy. we kept comparing different things between the show, twilight and true blood, lol. but now we're kind of sucked in. still a little cheesy..but, oh well.
anyone else watch it? does it get better, worse?
season premiere is october right?!

I watch it. It's based on a book series which came out way before Twilight and Sookie Stackhouse. I think it is a little cheesy, but does get better. It isn't my favorite show, but I do like it.

I LOVE Vampire Diaries!!!! I think it's my favorite show on TV (after Spartacus, of course)!
Season 4 Premiere is Thursday, October 11th at 8:00 p.m.
Season 2 is AMAZING - so much better than Season 1. And Season 3 is probably between the two in my book.

@Adira: YAY so excited to hear that!! I don't think season 3 is on netflix yet so i'm not sure what we'll do about that! I couldn't find it on demand..

@sorrycharlie: @Leialou: I've heard the books aren't as good as the show. But I haven't read them, so that's just rumor.
@sorrycharlie: Season 3 doesn't even come out on DVD until the 11th, so it wouldn't be available on Netflix for at least a month probably. And then I don't know if it would go straight to streaming or if you'd have to get the DVDs first. You can pay to watch them from Amazon though.

I do! I do! I like them. They might be a little cheesy, but still a good show to watch. I can't wait to see what happens in the series premier.

I really did not like the books, but that was me. I LOVE the show however!!! I cannot wait until it comes back on!
