Our does! Usually there are 10-12 babies in the infant room but there are only 4 in the summer. A lot of the parents at our daycare are college professors or teachers and have the summers off!

I think at ours enrollment crops in the fall when older kids go to preschool or kindergarten.

our daycare closes for the entire month of august! it's just two women + assistant and 11 kids total, so they take a month off in the summer.

No, everyone is year round so no one leaves. It would be hard to get back in if you left for the summer.

Yup. Our day care is associated with a Christian school that goes all the way through high school and many of the parents are teachers and staff at the school so they have summers off.

@Andrea: Our daycare makes people who skip summers pay for two full days a week to hold their fall spot!
