Someone says their name really quickly/jumbled/inaudible, and when you ask them to repeat it they say it SUPER slow like you are stupid?
Love that. Just love it.

@highwire: haha yes!
Some guy at my husbands work introduced himself, and DH didn't hear what he said, so he thought it was some long complicated name, but didn't want to re-ask. Later he heard everyone calling the guy "Mike".
People need to enunciate!

Hahaha! Yes. But then if I yell something to my husband and he doesn't hear I'll do the same thing, so maybe I should stop haha

Haha.... at least they say it slowly so you can understand it and not keep saying it fast and jumbled. I once got my oil change from a guy with a really bad southern accent. No matter how many times I asked I still had no idea what he said. Finally I just started saying ok to everything.

YES! Ugh. Drives me crazy. I'm always so tempted to be a smart-ass back, but, since it usually happens at work I've gotta be polite.

Super annoying. It's also annoying when they say it again and you still don't catch it and then you have to feel like an idiot by a. asking for a second time or b. pretending you heard it! LOL
