I can't believe it, but when Bee and I saw "Lincoln" at the theater, this guy turned around and yelled at me in the first few minutes of the movie over my popcorn. I remember exactly what he said: "Excuse me, but could you stop making so much noise? It's EXTREMELY annoying!"

Seriously, all I was doing was putting salt on my crappy stale popcorn. It wasn't all that noisy, and I hadn't even started eating the popcorn yet. I guess he doesn't like popcorn in movie theaters at all. I can totally understand that sentiment, but in my opinion, he was being way more annoying than I was. I just sit there quietly during movies... I don't really talk or make jokes or use my mobile phone.

His little speech ruined the first half hour of the movie for me. I thought about passing gas to get my revenge, but I was sitting right next to Mrs. Bee and also it kind of felt disrespectful to President Lincoln. With malice toward none, charity for all and so forth.

Does it ever bother you when people eat popcorn at the movie theater?
