AF is suppose to show up today. She usually arrives in the AM however she is not here yet. How accurate are the pee tests. I have heard that it is better to take them in the AM rather than mid day. Is this true? The one I already took today was neg. So I'm going to retest in the morning. I am most likely NOT prego, the timing wouldn't add up. We last had sex on day 9 and I usually don't O until around day 14.

I got a faint line with AM pee, then a definitive BFP on a digit with PM pee. While AM pee is more 'potent,' I think it mostly matters how many DPO you test!

I did a horrible job this month with my observations! After we had sex I pretty much stopped observing & charting. I recently went on metformin for PSOC. The doctor said even though I had all the S&S of ovulation I prob wasn't ovulating at all. So idk if I even ovulated this month.

If you're testing early, test with first morning urine. But since your period is due today, you can test anytime. Just try not to drink too much before and hold your pee for a few hours. Good luck!

Well another Negitive test this am. Still don't feel like I'm gonna get my period... Have there ever been times where it has taken longer than a missed period to get a positive test?

Since you don't know when you Oed, you don't really know when your period is due, so it's hard to say that you even missed it yet, right? I'm sure I've read about cases where people don't get a BFP until after their period is due, but in your case, I think its a wait and see. But if you last had sex on CD9, it sounds like you probably missed it this time? What CD are you now?

I didn't know when I actually O'd because my cycles were so messed up. I took my first test on the day that I thought I would have been roughly 12DPO and it was negative. I didn't get a positive until 5 days later. And it was faint.

I just KNEW I was pregnant. I took a test in the AM (only 8 or 9dpo but I just knew it!) and it was negative. I took it later in the afternoon and there was a faint line!
Maybe re-test in a few days (if you can wait that long!)

@QBBRIDE I promised the husband I wouldn't test until today but I couldnt let yesterday go by with it being 10/11/12 and all. Paying $14 for two generic EPT test is getting expensive, I'd hate to keep "wasting" the money. I may stock up on dollar tree drip tests. It's crazy how the results can change with in HOURS! Maybe there is still hope for us!?

It mostly matters how diluted your pee is. If you pee in the middle of the night or tend to drink a lot of water throughout the night, first-morning urine isn't necessarily best. At any rate, I tested at 10 dpo at like 2 in the afternoon and got a pretty strong line. I tested again at 11 dpo (just because... I'm a lunatic) with FMU and the line seemed lighter so I stopped altogether because I was freaking myself out!

I took 7 in one day because I didnt believe the pos result.

@sugar.buscuit - I guess I took 3 tests the day of my BFP... FRER with FMU-stark white. Then a cheapie (Wandfo) in the afternoon-squinter. Double checked with a FRER-positive!!!
I don't think my FMU was diluted. I think I needed a few more hours to build up the hcg, since it doubles every 48 hours.
But some cheapie tests, then confirm with an expensive one if you see anything... much cheaper that way!

I just went and got 5 of the cheep dollar ones. Neg again this afternoon. I may do another this evening...I don't know. If I wasn't going out of town this weekend to be with the family I prob wouldn't be this obsessed.

That may have been it @qbbride that and the med changes I've had, Af arrived this morning. How is it possible to be sad and relieved at the same time?! I will never be a lazy charter again!
