Charlie likes to take his time when he walks. Every brownstone we pass is an opportunity to either sit down, or to climb up on the steps so he can jump down them one at a time. Every tree we pass is an opportunity to look for acorns that he can stick in his pocket.
Basically, this kid loves to take his time! The only time he walks quickly is when he is pushing his toy stroller... then we can make great time. Honestly, it's really exhausting and results in me carrying him in my arms whenever we need to get somewhere in a hurry! Or of course, we just strap him into a stroller.
I'm wondering if this is common and if so, how long this phase lasts. Any experienced moms/dads out there that can shed some light?
Thanks!
