It does only for about 5 mins. He always wakes up after so it's not worth it! Unless bed time

nursing to sleep didn't really work for my LO. if it did, it was occasional and by accident. i even tried nursing him to sleep sometimes because he had such a hard time falling asleep on his own.

It's pretty much the only way I can get them to sleep right now. We've hit another bad sleep spot.

yes it always did. she doesn't fall asleep nursing anymore, but it still calms her and puts her in the mood for sleeping.

Yep. She actually fell asleep nursing the other night for the first time in a long time (we brush teeth and do story time between nursing and bed now, but I guess she was really tired) and it melted my heart. It's also the only thing that works to get her back to sleep in the MOTN. We don't nurse for naps anymore, but that used to work, too.

Only in the middle of the night. It stopped working during the day when he was about 2 months old & much more interested in the world around him.

allll the time...even at 14 months....which is why we had to majorly sleep train once she weaned.

Yup, nursing to sleep was a lifesaver for a long time in our house and I still nurse Miss A (2.5) down for her nap (and then I nap with her!)

We bottle feed, but if timed correctly, he will fall asleep to the bottle for the first nap of the day and bedtime. But we're trying to avoid bottle feeding to sleep at bedtime so that he learns to fall asleep himself. He's 23 weeks.

Nope. It did for my first, but DD2 gets annoyed when she's trying to sleep but milk comes out. She'd rather have a pacifier.

Yes, it used to put het to sleep no matter what. But now if she's not tired she won't fall asleep. But anywhere near a nap or bedtime it knocks her out.

It did for a looooonnnnngggg time. She actually fell asleep nursing for the very last time this weekend and I just let her stay for a little while since I knew she was about to wean. And took selfies.

Used to when she was younger, but not anymore. Even if she's dead tired, she'll fight it. Sucks because that used to be my backup if she refused to nap!
