HSHC insists that if you time a nap perfectly, there will be little to no tears.

We have very few tears at bedtime these days. But naps are a different story regardless of what I do. I've tried shorter awake time, longer awake times, but stick to the same general routine. There are always at least 5 minutes of tears (unless he falls asleep at the bottle...a no no, I know). Even if we are on a walk or in the car, he cries before he falls asleep.

My sister insists that her first born was just like this and some babies just cry before they go down.
