DD didn't sleep much last night. She woke up crying a few times and spent lots of time just hanging out, looking around, not sleeping in her crib. This morning when I got her up she has these spots on her mouth and little spots all over - a few on her feet, legs, chest. I don't see any on her hand. Think it's Hand Foot & Mouth?? Luckily we are already going to the doctor for her 18 month appt today!

@BeachMama: The 1st time my DD had it it was mild, no fever, just a few sores. The 2nd time it was BAD! I went back and looked on my blog after someone else posted about it and it was EIGHT days! She also had very high 104 fever for 5 days day 6 it broke! Took her to the ped but you cant do mauch about it but let it run its course. My DD had it on her tongue too - would barely eat popsicles. It can be very mild too so hopefully your DD has a mild case!

@BeachMama: we just went through HFM in our house! I think Wagon Sr. and I had a touch of it as well. Wagon Jr. only had a fever, no sores, and LMW had little bumps on her hands only. But I suspect she has some in her mouth because she's been drooling nonstop and she cries when she tries to eat. She's so hungry but then she'll put something in her mouth and then just scream... so heartbreaking. We went through a lOT of baby food pouches in the past few days.

So she now has a rash ALL over her body. The pediatrician doesn't think it's HFM because because the blisters don't appear to have vesicles and there's none inside her mouth. She actually said since the blisters are around her lips that it might be cold sores (?!) Either way, it's a virus and it just has to run its course.
