Kind of sick of this situation:
My friend (she's close but not best friend) always badgers her husband in front of me and behind his back.
And now she gets to the point that she doesn't "believe" me when I say nice things about my own husband.
I'll say, "DH rushes home from work to do bath time because it breaks his heart to come home to LO already asleep."
and she'll say, "Oh well, maybe if they'd (men in general) come home from work at a decent hour, they could actually see their kids for more than a few minutes!"
And she'll always say things like, "Yep, that's how it starts..." and "Better keep him in check.." Um, keep my husband in check?
She only refers to her husband as, "That man!" (with the eye roll).

And it's like, ok lady, just because you seem to hate your husband doesn't mean you need to turn me against mine.
When I do have issue with DH, I tell DH, not the whole world. And I would never try to put negative thoughts into another woman's head about *her* husband.

*Mind you: her husband seems like a great guy and her complaints are that of any other wife's on earth, however it is just the disrespectful and inconsiderate way she says it so freely and frequently that rubs me the wrong way.
