My son just learned to crawl a few weeks ago and now crawls to very weird places. Under his jumper, under bar stools, under chairs.....confined places, really. And then gets stuck and whines. Why does he do this?!

LO is a year old and he -still- crawls into weird places. One time, he crawled under his crib at my parent's house. Most recently, he likes to crawl behind the glider and hang out there. He'll drag blankets, toys, everything behind the glider and hangs out in the corner for a few minutes before venturing back out to get something else to add to his pile. I have to clear it out every night. He's like a little magpie!

He's not crawling yet but he is scootching on his stomach (usually backwards). I keep my laptop on a piano bench and I constantly find him wedged in between the legs underneath it, and once or twice halfway under the recliner (it rocks, so there's a gap between the bottom and the floor).

If I don't want her to be there, that seems to be where she crawls! She likes wedging herself under chairs and into side tables too. Although she's gotten crafty and flips over now and paws her way back out, sliding herself on her back.

He likes to go up the stairs, he crawls under my craft table, under his exersaucer and in corners

She crawls under her learning table and then whines because she can't figure out how to get out! It's hilarious and sad at the same time.

My lo doesn't actually crawl yet but sheds always rolling and scooting her way into precarious situations like behind or under the tv stand
My favorite is when she scoots herself onto the hard slick floors and gets stuck lol...
