Smokey the cat hides from Charlie as much as she can. Lately, Charlie has become a little obsessed with her and searches for her in all of her favorite hiding places. I think she is a little traumatized but it's also interesting how he is starting to pet her and how she is starting to let him.

My dog was super curious about LO. He tried sneaking into her room many many times. I'm really excited to see how they interact when we head back home in a couple months!

I have 2 cats. 1 is more scared then the other, yet they try and stay put when Mavrick wants to pet them. He's slowly understanding that being soft and not screaming helps in keeping the cats close... but sometimes I will come to see both my son and cat sitting in the same chair. Its adorable!

Our dog goes in the other room if lo is crying too much. But she's way more terrified of him than he is of her.

@artbee: no, he'll stay with my sister and fam.. as much as I'd love to bring him here, he won't get as much attention as he's used to and will probably be miserable.
i think his fur would drive me crazy too.

@chopsuey119: It is annoying to pick my pup's fur out of my LO's mouth, lol. But worth it, I would hate not having him here! We're pretty lucky though, when we're busy my mom will come take him for walks or go to the dog park with him.

My dogs aren't too sure about her. One dog will run away if I'm walking with her in my arms, the other is fine with her as long as I don't bring her near him. They're slowly adjusting to sharing the attention with her
