T used to be so flexible with what he would wear. Now, he hates wearing jeans and also hates "fancy" shirts - which in his view is anything that has buttons, even a polo shirt. Ugh! Every time we need him to look decent it is a fight! He's 4.5.

My 3yo son refuses to wear "hard" pants - jeans, khakis, corduroys, basically anything aside from sweatpant type "soft" pants.

@winniebee: B is the opposite, the more buttons the better. He has to have at least one button and so always wears jeans.

She doesn't like layers or heavy stuff on top (sweaters, sweatshirts, and most annoyingly, her winter coat). Not great for someone living in Boston in February. She wanted to play outside in the snow today and literally decided not to because she didn't want to put her snow pant and coat on.

Jeans and buttons- despite that fact that she asked for anplaid shirt with buttons for Christmas for months. Peplum tops, unless I let her wear it as a dress- she will not wear pants with a shirt with a skirt on it. And leggings with dresses, which is super annoying.
Mostly she only wants to wear dresses with tights.

Two shirts. Like won't wear a hoodie or cardigan over another shirt.

Flip flops or any sandal with a divider between toes. Also, anything "ugly"

My 4yo daughter won't wear itchy sweaters or wool coats. She has super-sensitive skin, so I get it.

My 3 year old hates shirts with buttons. Sometimes he can be persuaded, but 95% of the time, it's apparently a form of torture

The two year old refuses to wear sneakers. She's all boots, mary janes and crocs.
The five year old won't wear jeans.

My son won't wear jeans, stiff pants (he likes them to be lined with jersey or fleece) and button down shirts.
