J loved it last fall when he was about 6-9 months old, but summer came this year and he hates it! He cries if I put him in the swing and begs to get out. It's so weird!
I tried swinging with him on my lap and he didn't like that either.
anyone else or is my kid just weird about it?!

Depends on the day. She usually likes it, but sometimes she just wants to go in and out and in and out and in and out. Not actually swing.

At home, nope, cries every time. The one at day care sits a little higher and she will even go to sleep in that one. Stinker!

Xander's 3 months and he loves all swings and will sleep in all of them, as far as I can tell! We have the expensive Snug-a-Bunny one, but he likes the small ones just as much - he naps in those at daycare.

LO also loved them from about 6 months to when she started trying to walk. Now she will swing, but only for a few minutes before she wants to get down.
