Can you put her hair up in pigtails or put clips in it or pull it back in one ponytail? Mine won't let me touch her hair, I think we are going to have to chop it again until she will let me put it up.

She lets me do it. Then she rips it out about 8 seconds later and proceeds to stuff the bobbi pins or clips what whatever it was in her mouth. I'm afraid she's going to choke so I don't really try anymore. She's 18 months. She never had a problems with it until the last month or so. Her hair is the biggest hot mess so I wish she'd let me do something with it.

Yes! She'll let me do pigtails and french braids and even double french braids! I have to sit on the floor and be ready to go and put a toy or puzzle in front of her. I only have a few minutes to get it up. She's usually good about this first thing in the morning, when she's like YES SNUGGLES. she's 21 months

I can put a bow in but she isn't super fond of pigtails or ponytails. She lets MIL try different styles!

Yes, I mostly do braided pigtails. She is 2.5 so it took a while for her to learn to let me do it, but I really don't have a choice because her hair so extremely curly and some days it looks wild if it isn't done!

Yes but bows get pulled out immediately. She hates her hair in her face and I can get about 1.5 minutes of stillness out of her while I fix it.

Yes, thankfully as girlfriend has long hair!! She even requests I do her hair in certain styles each day. I have to step up my hair game though, as I've never really done anything much with my own hair. @T.H.O.U.: beautiful - how did you do it?

Yes! 23 month old and I pop her on the bathroom sink and give her a box of hair bows/clips/whatever to play with and I work FAST! We have done pigtails, pony tails, and sometimes I get crazy and try to do something weird...like a faux-hawk with multiple ponies going down the middle of her head.

A quick pony or piggy tail at 2 1/2 is about all I can do. No braids or anything fancy, but she does let me "do" it to an extend. Never stays in but I try! ha

She didn't used to let me touch it, but since her hair's getting longer, brushing it and putting it in pig tails or a ponytail has been part of her morning routine.

Nope! She runs away and declares that she is both "fine and busy." She's pretty much a mess. It's just not a fight I'm interested in picking now. But on the rare occasion that I do get pigtails, it makes me so happy!

Nope. She is 2 and I have to bribe her to get her to let me put anything in her hair. She even gets annoyed and am sitting next to her playing with it too much.

Usually. I ask what she wants to watch while I do her hair. It's only a struggle if I'm in a rush to leave and doing it last minute. My mom braids her hair while she's asleep sometimes.

Yep. She lets me french braid it, brush it, put pony tails in it, etc. She doesn't feel dressed for the day unless her hair is done and out of her eyes. But I've been putting it in pony tails since she was 15 months.

Love all the braids! My 2.5 yo talks in her sleep and I literally heard her say "don't want pigtails". Ha. She lets her DCP do really cute stuff though.

@T.H.O.U.: Cool, I will have to look up a tutorial on YouTube. LO has been asking me for Elsa and Anna hair; so I tried to replicate Elsa's correnation day hair. Came out ok for first try!
And here's some double french braids daycare did. I don't have these skills yet lol

Yes, she's 3.5 and her hair is nearing her little bottom. It has to be up as she doesn't like it in her face and gets it full of food. It's easiest if I let her watch tv as I do it. Lately, she just wants pigtails, but I was doing braids for awhile. If only I could get a relatively even or straight line down her head when I do pigtails. Or get them evenly positioned on her head!

She does, but we've been doing it since she was five months old. IPad time helps on days when she's less willing.

That's a big fat NO!! She runs, hides, buried her head into couches and pillows. Girl has long hair, and hates me touching it. Doesn't help that I don't know how to French braid, she let's Grandma and her babysitter though.

Almost never. she has to be sitting in her high chair and strapped in and distracted for me to do a quick braid. Usually she says "no mommy don't touch my hair." And pulls away.

I don't have a daughter, but I have a son with a mess of hair (it's a pompadour, literally). He lets me do his hair daily and asks me to play with it (run my hands through it) at night lol
