Our daycare/preschool says they do but the same tube of sun screen has been in LO's box for almost 2 years. 
The teachers say they put in on and LO 1 has never had a sunburn so I guess they just use it sparingly?! Maybe I apply too much?

@autumnlove: no they were just being stupid and trying to say they couldn't risk applying sunscreen in case someone's kid had an allergic reaction to it but we finally convinced them to do it if we signed waivers.

I don't think mine does. They have in the parent handbook to apply sunscreen before they go to school. They go outside pretty early in the morning so I'm not that worried.

They do, but you have to fill out a form. I guess it's a waiver like @MamaMoose said. I know they do it because they have asked for new bottles of sunscreen.

We are responsible for applying in the morning and school reapplies in the afternoon. We signed a form before summer authorizing sunscreen application. I know they do it because my DS's face is always covered and they don't do the greatest job spreading it out.. But at least they did it!

I have know idea! Like @autumnlove my sunblock looks untouched (unlike the diaper cream) but my fair skinned redhead has never had a sunburn there and I don't apply in the morning. Maybe she stays in the covered part of the yard. IDK.

We reapply it on the kids in the afternoon, unless we're not going outside. Sometimes if it's very overcast we don't, but always always when it's sunny!
