Does your DH/SO snore? Mine does but it doesn't bother me. I have a friend who sleeps in a different room because she can't handle the snoring.

He does and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Loud snoring isn't normal!!! And if its apnea, it's dangerous

My husband used to snore...and then he lost over 40 pounds and he doesn't snore anymore. It didn't bother me a lot bc I'm a pretty deep sleeper but it would bother me on the nights that he feel asleep first...I would nudge him until he stopped

It's HORRENDOUS. Ugh. But, I am used to it after 9 years or so. I just have to nudge him/shove him to get him to lay on his side to make him stop.

Sometimes. I wake him up and he changes position. It bothers me probably since it is infrequent.

DH has really bad sleep apnea. He needs a cpap but just hasn't got it yet. I sleep with earplugs because of it.

YES and YES . . . because he falls asleep at the drop of a hat!

Drives me crazy. I yank his pillow, shove him, or tell him to roll over. He's pretty good about complying. The last month of my pregnancy I made him sleep on the couch

He does if he sleeps on his back. It doesn't wake me up, but if I happen to wake up and he's snoring I have to make him stop or I can't fall back to sleep.

No, thank goodness. I don't know if I could have dealt with a guy that snores.

Yes, when he has been drinking. Annoys the crap out of me. I can't sleep then. Usually I can wake him up and make him sleep on his side and it helps. But he likes to sleep on his back which makes it worse.

I have no comment to make, but I was just checking to see whether DW had posted a comment here about me.
Carry on, nothing to see here.

@Smurfette: Ugh my DH snores when he drinks too. If he drinks more than 2 beers I make him sleep in another room!
He also snores if he's congested. I hate snoring! I always wake him up and make him roll over.

Yes and yes. We usually have a fan running pretty high in our room so it isn't noticeable most of the time, but every now and then it can be just gawd-awful...that's when I'll wake him up and have him roll over.

He snores, but it doesn't bother me. His snores aren't too loud, and I like the cuddles too much to be too far away. Also, I got him back by snoring all through my pregnancy (apparently).

Yes, I've been kicking him in the ankles while he sleeps and quietly bitching about it for years! He was just diagnosed with sleep apnea and has a cpap machine - - it is heavenly! I can't believe how quiet the machine is, and no more snoring.

@apis: LOL
@Smurfette: Ugh, it's definitely worse if he's drinking.

@yoursilverlining: hahaha.. I only kicked DH once and that's when B was an infant and woke up for a night feeding and I looked at DH and he was sound asleep.

Rarely. We are both once every 2 month 'snorers'
I will randomly snore (if I am really really exhausted)
A few weeks ago my husband woke me up to kiss me on the cheek, tell me that I was snoring like a trucker and he was going to sleep downstairs..
In my sleepy state I thought he said "snoring like an alligator" and I thought that was soooo cool! fell back asleep with a big grin on my face. I was so disappointed to find out he didn't say alligator

My DH snores but honestly I don't even notice it anymore. I think it has just become normal for me at this point. I also think that it helps that I usually fall asleep first, and then I just block it out.
