FIL doesn't have an opinion, MIL would love another grandbaby, my mom as well. My dad says it's too hard on me so he said we should be done with our two.
My extended family also would LOVE for us to have another baby.
They're all respectful and are saying it out of love so thankfully we haven't had to deal with any real "pressure." And our family planning is definitely just up to us obviously. But just wondering if other families are vocal about more children in your family.

My mom and MIL joke we should stop at 2 (we want 3-4) because they each had three and number 3 gave them each trouble

MIL never says a word or even asks, she is not one to care....
My mom will sayb things like, well of course she needs siblings and when you have another.... Etc...
She knows more are definetly in our plans!

Weirdly both my mom and and my MIL think we should stop at one .... which we probably will do but it was odd to me that they both have this opinion!

Extended family asks all the time when we will have another. One Aunt made it clear that one and done was the worst thing we could do(when we were talking about it), eye roll. Siblings and parents, both sides, never ask us.

My mom is the only one who has voiced an opinion, which has consistently been negative when it comes to adding more children. First she thought I shouldn't get pregnant because I was planning on going back to work - nice (I did end up a SAHM, but still). When we announced I was pregnant with LO1, she goes "are you happy?" WTF. With the second, she said "But LO1 is still so young!" When I pointed out that the 22 month age gap would be the same that she had with me and my brother, she was quiet. When I recently shared that we were thinking about adding a third (with a similar age gap), she said "well you're going to have to get really good at this," which was so weird and out of left field. I already think I'm good at this, that's why I want another and why I think we're all reasonably happy? She later clarified that she just meant taking them all to doctor's appointments, keeping their files organized, etc (all the stuff she dealt with with 3) but that's been a disappointing constant with her re: our family plans. Everyone else stays quiet about it, except DH's grandparents, who always like to jokingly ask about more.

I get everything from 'don't have another' to 'thank goodness' when I tell them we're taking a break for a few years. Family, man.

People ask, and I tell them I'm happy with two. Most think we should go for a third to try for a girl. No thank you. The good thing is that most don't push the issue.

They are happy to hear me say that I want another. No one in our family has just one child so they all think being one and done is terrible! Before DD was born I had no clue if I would want to go through treatments again and was vocal about that.

My mom jokes that we should provide her with another grandchild soon. She knows that we want more kids though. And she's not actually pressuring, just joking around!

We received a lot of pressure from MIL about having a baby. It got so bad that DH finally had to have a conversation about it and told her we wouldn't be able to see her anymore if it kept up. Totally worked and she didn't bring it up again. We just had a baby so she's finally happy and no one (other than my sister who I don't mind doing it) has brought up us having a second yet.

Both of our moms say they want a little girl in the family- but my mom has a chance of one of my sisters having a girl someday too so it's not directed at us. My MIL isn't pushy but would like another grandchild. Even though we are leaning towards having another I just say maybe someday. I don't want to disappoint them.

Many of our family members assume (and comment) on how we are done with two simply because we have one of each gender. We personally don't give a crap about genders and are considering having a 3rd in the future (obviously depending on how well having 2 kids goes). I haven't shared this with them just to spare ourselves the comments.

a fair amount of pressure from my parents, just to me and not to "us". telling them about my first miscarriage put an end to that. it was out of love because they know I want children and I think just don't want me to wait too long, and weirdly it wasn't that annoying.

Every one in my direct family thinks we should stop bc of things they know we went through but out side of that every else thinks we should try for a girl. 
I tell people we will see.

Mil has never said anything and won't. My parents know we want another but never push. I think my sil (brother's wife) is the only one who has ever directly asked me, but in a friendly way, not pressure-y!

My mom think we should stop at 2 or at the very least wait awhile before trying again (like 2-3 more years). My boys are 20 months apart and the youngest is 5 months. We're considering a similar age gap for future #3 and my mom is not a fan of that plan.

My parents are happy with 3 and my MIL wants us to have another. She wants to hear a pregnancy announcement at the end of the year/early next year.

They don't say much but I get the feeling they want us to stop at two because they seem supportive of that when we say we are stopping. We're both from two kid families (plus half siblings so not really but for most of the time) so it's not surprising... But if we ever make a lot of money and the timing is right we kind of want a third now.

No one says much besides my mom who firmly says each time it (jokingly)comes up that we should stop at 2. We definitely are done at 2 so I don't know why she says that everytime. She had 2 and thinks it's perfect. Plus they are getting older and she is scared of being overwhelmed.

I think most people are happy we had more than one, but also would have been fine if we had stopped at one- my brother and sister both just have one kid and no know my parents thing more is better (I'm one of five kids after all) but they also know the parents have their own reasons. We were always open about wanting to have more than one kid so there wasn't any outside pressure. I think if we decided to have a third everyone would be supportive (but with this current difficult 3 week old that is NOT happening).

We sometimes get comments from ILs about more, families of 5+ are pretty common for them, so stopping at 1 is really odd to them. They don't know yet about LO2. I feel like for the most part, they're not being judgy or pushy, I think they get that it's a different set of circumstances with 2 FT WOH parents and daycare expenses and stuff.
My mom barely acknowledges LO so I don't know if she has an opinion. She also doesn't know about LO2.
My dad wants us to have a girl. He adores LO but I was daddy's little girl and he really treasured that and wants DH to experience it too. He knows about LO2 and is so thrilled for us.

Thankfully neither my parents or MIL ever said anything or asked when we would have a baby, how many, etc. They're respectful of that and never pressured for grandchildren but were all over the moon when we announced both M and my current pregnancy. And now we're done

We've mostly been hearing, "we didn't even think you wanted kids!" (LO is five weeks old.) Nothing in the way of sibling pressure yet.

Every once in awhile my mom tries to convince me. She says, "even if it's another girl, just have another" and it always rubs me the wrong way. We don't plans to add another, but if we did, I'd prefer to have another girl!

Both sets of parents are adamant we can't stop at one. After my recent miscarriage I think my MIL is scared we won't have another so we get lots of talks about how it'd be hard to grow up without a sibling. Thanks a bunch, we'll get right on that. My siblings both have 3 kids. They don't ask but seem to assume we will have more kids.

No, not really. We have 2 and May or may not have one more and I can't imagine them being anything but excited if we did.
