We spend a lot of the weekend out of the house, which means it usually doesn't get messier... but also means that it rarely gets cleaner.
However this past weekend, we spent Saturday at home because of rain and so it got trashed! We cleaned it Saturday night though, so now it's in decent shape. If a friend texted that they were five minutes away, we could get it into shape in time if we both cleaned up for those full five minutes!

Messier....Saturday is fun day we are out of the house or lounge neatly at home. When Sunday hits it's like a tornado. My husband takes out all of his work stuff and puts everywhere in the family room. All of the somewhat neat pillows on the couch are moved around on the floor and clustered where was sitting.

Oh geeze our house gets so messy on weekends! You'd think with two adults home it would get cleaner but that is definitely not the case.

Haha, I had to set a timer on Saturday night for my son to put away his toys...we were also stuck inside most of the day because of the rain...not looking forward to the winter, to be honest.

Most of the time cleaner since I spend Saturdays cleaning if we have nothing going on! However if we have a busy weekend then it tends to get messier as I split up the chores to do over the weekdays..

Glad I'm not the only one. It drives me crazy. DH is not a clean as you go person. And I want to take the weekend off of chores. It ends up a disaster.

Cleaner because we actually clean it, haha. During the week, Xander's toys get thrown about everywhere and he tracks dirt on the floors from daycare. On the weekend, we'll pick up things and vacuum, so it's definitely cleaner! Even his toys strewn about Sunday night are not nearly as numerous as they become during the rest of the week.

Cleaner for sure! I feel like I never have time to clean during the week, so I use a lot of the down time on the weekends to tidy up!
