My son does that EVERY night. Luckily, my husband handles all over his bedtime requests.

Yes and he's only 19 months old. It's annoying but he does usually go once. He does this for naps as well or really any time he's upset. The other day he was at the doctor and was screaming to go but had already gone.

DD started doing this so we put her potty chair in her room at night. It stopped her fake potty requests immediately and on the rare occasion that she does need to go overnight, she can handle it herself without needing our help.
