Prettybaby has just gotten to the stage where she sort of bops around and bounces to music, I call it dancing and I love it!!!! How old was your LO when s/he started dancing?

No. I wish she would though.... P's been 1-3 months behind in a lot of her miestones though so I'm sure she will soon enough.

She's still too little but this is one of the milestones I'm most excited for!!!

I keep trying to catch a video of it, but she doesn't do it long enough!!

My little guy will bounce up and down if he hears a song on TV or if we ask him to dance. I love it!

Probably around 14 months we started getting wiggle hips when DS heard music he liked. It was very Elvis-esque.

@pelikila: that's adorable. She mostly does this bounce move where she's on her knees and bangs her bum on the back of her feet. DH calls it a stripper move!! lol!!

This is from when ds was 1. Excuse the poor quality, I think I used my phone. I know the music isn't very loud, but the dancing is epic!

I don't remember exactly when she started dancing--maybe 6 or 7 months--it was just a back and forth sort of like she was doing crunches in the beginning but now at 10.5 months she moves side to side and back and forth.
And she "taught" her baby friend in the nanny share how to dance.
