My girls love to color/draw/glue/stickers, really anything art related. I was huge into coloring as a kid (still am!) so it makes me happy that they enjoy these kinds of activities. I overheard some moms at the preschool the other day, and one was saying their kid doesn't care to do that stuff at all. So it got me curious, how many kids actually enjoy coloring/art type activities....does your LO?

E loves messy painting, glue and glitter, but doesn't really enjoy colouring with crayons. I think she loves the gloupy mess element more than the actual creating something - you have to supervise her very, very closely because, after the first few minutes, she wants to run around painting the walls or eating the paint.
She loves stickers but, again, prefers to stick them on the tv or the windows than in a sticker book.

He didn't really get into drawing until he was 4. He liked to paint before then, so we did that when I felt like cleaning up.
Now he uses pens and goes through a lot of paper, but it's a lot easier to clean up!

She's enjoyed it since about 12 months, at 17 months now she requests certain things like paint or crayons. It's usually a mess, she also eats it. I enjoy it so much that it works for us though.

He is not really into it, although finally at 3.5 if I take out watercolors or dot markers he will use them for a bit. But before now doing arts and crafts was like pulling teeth!

He's 3.5 and not into it at all, I wish he was because coloring is such a nice QUIET activity.

Mine is really into gluing, stickers, scissors and scribbling a little. Actual coloring and doodling, zero interest (she's 2 months shy of 3).

My 3.5yo LOVES coloring with markers and crayons, drawing with colored pencils, painting, and cutting paper with scissors. She comes home with drawings from school every single day.
Now he uses pens and goes through a lot of paper, but it's a lot easier to clean up!
